Our history
Goethe International School was founded in 2002 with intellectual investment from Germany. Now in its 24th year of operation, the school has continuously integrated national and international educational systems.
Today, with 100+ teachers and staff and 800+ students enrolled, the majority of graduates go on to study at universities abroad.
Since becoming a Cambridge school in 2020, the school has successfully administered international examinations. Students have earned A*, A, and B grades in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Art & Design, and ICT — and are fully recognised internationally.

The learning environment is designed to promote discipline, mutual respect, and intellectual focus.
Director's word
Welcome
Thoughts & goals
Universities and colleges in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are tuition-free. The distinctive advantage of Goethe School is that we prepare our students specifically and enter them into the German Language Diploma (DSD I, II) examinations administered by the Federal Office for German Schools Abroad. Graduates who pass can enrol in universities and colleges in those countries in their chosen field of study — without a German language entrance exam.
We set the highest-quality education as our mission, and we are seeing results. Through the DAAD programme, the German Government selects 80 students annually from 140 countries worldwide to study at its universities free of charge, with accommodation, meals, and stipends provided.
Our students regularly earn medals in Ulaanbaatar city and district olympiads in Mathematics, Mongolian Language, Chemistry, and other subjects. To maintain the highest quality of teaching, no more than 25 students are admitted per class.
Goethe School, with its intensive German and English language programme, was founded in 2002. Our accomplishments belong to the dedicated teachers, the generations of graduates who have brought distinction to the school's name, the students, staff, and parents who all contribute. Our success is inseparable from the tireless work of our teachers, the support of parents, our collaborative spirit, and the unwavering determination of our students to grow and learn.
We wish you all the very best as you embark on your academic journey — may your lives be enriched by all you accomplish.
Respectfully, Director P.Khajidmaa
